Starting a new job and they're pretty flexible with hours. Should I got with 4 10 hour days and Fridays off, 4 9 hour days and half day on Fridays, or the classic 5 8 hour days?

I guess it depends on what else you do during the week... I'd probably go for 4 10s personally.

Would you want to work longer Monday-thursday to be off on Friday ?

I'd be all over a 4 day schedule if I could do so.

My job does this and it seems like the 10 hour people work the same schedule as the 8 hour people. So do 10's and have a 3 day weekend every weekend.

I do this, but I think I'd suffer through the extra hour to be completely off on Fridays.

My poor dog would die though

4 tens is the best workload you can get.
It's only two hours more a day, but you get the 40 hours in four days and if they do need overtime, then you give up your friday. But always having three day weekends would be awesome.

I'm my own boss and have one day weekends. lol
