We are probably both hunting for a knife. Even the basic knives sell for $60 a pop

Yea, the cases hold weapons skins that can be sold for real money in the marketplace. It's EXTREMELY rare to get the high dollared items, but they are there. The most expensive sniper rifle can go for $200, and the most expensive knife i've personally seen was in the $500's. I doubt anyone has sold it at that price, but they sell for a high dollar amount.

I've sold some skins for a few bucks here and there, and cases sell for about 50 cents. I buy keys with the money I make on the marketplace. I rarely get anything worth a damn but there's always a chance.

You can look through the skins I have later and see if there is anything you want to trade for.

I've got two Blue AK-47s. I use one primarily as a high dollar betting item. I've become somewhat addicted to the betting aspect of skins. For those who don't know if you go here: [link=(www.csgolounge.com)]CS Go Lounge[/link] you can bet on the real life results of Pro gaming matches. If you win, based on the percentage and value of your items up for bet, you get a return on your winnings. If you bet high on a really huge under dog, you could come out WAAAYYY on top. However, they are the underdog for a reason. Likewise, if you have a few high dollar items, you could bet on a heavy favorite and get face value or a little less than and turn that around for a few bucks in real life. Once you accumulate a decent backlog of skins, you can then use the above website to post trades for skins, cases, keys, etc.

The frick?
Just so I'm clear, these give zero advantage in terms of efficiency, right? It's all about looks?

Yeah, I can probably do that, better than buying a key. Think I have 8 or 10 cases and I have no intentions of opening them or selling them. If there's a $500 dollar knife in there though I want 10%

Yep, all about looks. However, I am of the thought that if you look good, you play good. I honestly feel like my game stepped up once I started getting cool looking skins. I don't know why that is, but it worked for me

ETA: Here is a picture of the highest priced Stat track items. Stat track items have a little LCD display of how many kills you've earned with that weapon.

I get that. Back in the day we had to do that manually. Gave the game a more custom feel

Also, if I am not mistaken, the item drops reset weekly. I believe the minimum limit is 4.

I have 7 "big" cases and 5 (I think) of the green slimmer cases. What's the difference?

Also, I've got some sticker packs if anyone's interested. Stickers are cool.

The difference is the name. Those green cases you could sell for $0.40 - $0.45 a pop. each case key costs $2.49. The "big" cases all depend on the name. The Marksman case and the CS:GO 2 case are the ones people pay the most for out of the "big" boxes. Stickers are also fun to have as well.

Those have made me a surprising amount of money. I opened 3 capsules and each sticker I got sold for at least 3 bucks.

Well, I'm not trying to sell. I'd be more than willing to trade if you have something stickerless that looks cool

My worst map yet! Probably my buzz. I've been on a roll since losing the first match though. At least it was fun and competitive this time.

I'm just going to keep posting screenshots until I am humbled.

Do you guys have a particular server that you play on consistently that promotes teamplay?

When you go to play do use "Find a Game"?

BC thats the best way to get into a game period. Not by looking thru servers.
