Just thought it should be at least asked. We would have to give up more than he is worth, for sure. He looks like a Patriot or Bronco imo.

I dont see how the saints could do it

But with him I would imagine Defensive coaches around the league would just throw up their hands in disgust.

Absolutely.

Graham, Johnson, Colston and Cooks? That would just be unfair.

Obviously we're not getting him. Id rather him with the Pats. Him with Thomas, Thomas, Sanders, and Welker in Denver would be nuts

I can see it now

Brees in a 3,5,7 step drop.......complete all while eating a ham sandwich and checking his email on his cell.

It makes perfect sense for him to go to Cleveland IMO. They're on the rise with a young gun QB, two all-pros on their OL, a good stable of RBs and what looks to be a top 10 defense at least... Plus, if SOMEHOW Josh Gordon isn't gone for 16 (highly unlikely at this point), Johnson and Gordon instantly becomes the best WR tandem in the league, and that offense becomes instantly TERRIFYING if JFF is even 70% as good as he was in college.

How could we afford him? Unless he takes like the veteran minimum

It wouldn't even be fair having him on this team.

We should do it.

He says he's willing to restructure, but not willing to take a pay cut.

He's 33. The only way this move makes sense is for a team that has the cap room and feels like he could put them over the hump for a SB run this year.

So he is mad because he wants to win playoff games and maybe a championship late in his career and he goes to Cleveland. Uh No.

For real, take a pay cut and come to N.O. and win a Superbowl or 2 and then leave for a big contract I would be ok wit dat!

Finally a "should we" thread I say yes to. Unfortunately, there's 0 chance we get him so it doesn't matter.

Dream on, but man... what a dream.

Brees be like:

"frick yo' record book! Buy a new record book!"

...it would be down right silly.
