Anyone have any recommendations for home security cameras? With DVR and able to view from online? Just bought a house and want to rig it up.

These look nice and really easy to set up, but $200 a camera? Ouch

I really like my qsee set. HD (720p), 4 hardwired cat-5 powered cables, 1tb hdd, remote viewing.

It was online only from costco fwiw

Don't get anything less than 720p either (h264, d1, etc).

Good point. I can't wait to see some real live comparisons.

When comparing this type of service,
homemonitor > dropcam

dropcam you have to pay monthly to access recordings otherwise you can only view live feeds, homemonitor includes storage for the last 7 days of recording

You don't have to pay a fee for homemonitor? Just buy the cameras?
