Your post echoes my sentiments exactly. I'm developing a serious hard on for Lallana.

Lallana is coming into his own nicely. Sterlings touch late in the match was dumbfounding to me. So spastic looking when he is usually smooth. Lovren still baffles me how he can look so solid one minute then so lost the next. He also takes a few too many risky chances, most of which are unnecessary. But it was good to get 3. Just need to keep gelling and improving the chemistry.

I usually hate international breaks, but I actually think this one is at a good time for us... Another week for Studge to properly heal and be ready to go for our next match..

I'll be really interested to see what formation BR plans to use..

TBH, I don't think Balotelli has played bad... our midfield has provided absolutely no service for him and Coutinho and Raheem being out form has not helped... Thankfully, Lallana is starting to hit his stride and hopefully he can give us that creative spark we need...

Lambert has been the real disappointment to me, in regards to strikers.. I don't think any of us were relying on him to be a starter, but more so that different option later in games... I heard one of the pundits say it may be the "weight of the shirt," whatever it is.. he doesn't look nearly the player he was for the Saints

Thats said, we won't be competing for the league title... but I can't believe we are only 4 points out of 2nd place... Nobody, other than Chelsea, looks really good.. Hopefully, we can kick on after this break and push for that top 4 finish...

I want to say I heard BR say in his post game comments that everyone should be healthy or at least very nearly fit by QPR with the exception of Flanagan. Can might not be fully fit but he and Allen were both doing some light rehab with fitness trainers I want to say a week ago. That will be a pretty big deal especially before getting RM back to back.

Yep, I didn't mention them in my post, but the break will be good for us in regards to quite a few players getting back from injury...

So far, this fall has been dismal in regards to my sporting interests... But I will remain optimistic!

I'll just be very interested to see what lineups we go with. More bodies will definitely help us control the midfield a little more to help Stevie which will be a big help especially against some of the better teams. Lallana's playing well, Sterling and Coutinho will still be important I think in scoring goals and they should definitely benefit from having Sturridge back. Then hopefully we can get some continuity in the back and maybe get some more help (Valdes :fingerscrossed:) to keep from giving up all the stupid goals we have a tendency to let in

I thought this was interesting to read and it supports what we've all said about Hendo the past few seasons..

The Rise of Jordan Henderson

I think the only thing he is really lacking is getting a few more goals...

Hopefully we can get it done, but I can understand there potentially being some hang up on wages since he was paid pretty well at Barca I'm sure. We're already not known to give out 100k+ willingly, especially to a 32 year old fresh off an ACL repair, but he's a free so there's some upside there and may make us more willing to pay more.

So.........

we may be down to Skrtel and Toure. Not sure how serious this is or how long Sakho is out for..

At least Croatia sent him back to our staff instead of "testing his resolve".

VV deal has supposedly collapsed. Twat doesn't want to come to Melwood to prove his fitness because he doesn't want to "go on trial."

His agent said on twitter that wasn't true that they never asked him to go on trial

You guys need to kick this dude out of your LFC thread.

Me
I'm not sure you really know who Graeme Souness is

pvilleguru

I've heard the name, but that's about it.

Me

Hold on you are a Liverpool fan saying you don't know about Graeme Souness

pvilleguru

Your point being...? He stopped playing for them 3 years before I was born and about 27 years before I watched my first Liverpool match.

Me

I guess as a United fan I shouldn't know about Sir Matthew Busby

That's a shame if true.

So only Markovic was injured this round of It'l matches?
