Looks like it to me. A couple defenders on the bench, and three strikers. No typical midfielders.
Also,one of City's players, Silva, is in a C-Spine Collar being stretchered off after taking an accidental elbow to the face/jaw.
ETA: Got him some oxygen going on the stretcher, so he must have been out for a minute...hopefully he is alright.

Last 20 minutes we have struggled with possession... Sterling just misplayed a BEAUTIFUL pass straight into the air via header.
Baker is injured for Villa. Was subbed out, so that could be good news down the stretch of this game. Hope he is alright too.

Coutinho!!!! Persistent sequence, with a FANTASTIC (albeit short) assist from Sterling.
Thought Hendo had squandered a chance, he made a run to the left post, and passed it back. Moreno broke up a clearance attempt and it went straight to Sterling who caught Cou on his run from just outside the box

Yeah. He and Skrtel take bad risks at times, and we definitely pay the price for it when they don't pay off.

I think, to a degree, he plays with a MFers mentality... You take the good with the bad, with that... I'm hoping soon (next season), he will start to get more time in the middle of the park...

Why has Rodgers all of a sudden started screwing with a good back line? The back three has been solid all this last few months, and he has the two main pieces back to anchor it... So, logically, he switches mid-half to an altered back four... wtf?

I'm guessing Sakhos injury and Skrtels suspension played into the decision, but honestly, I don't think we've looked good in the past month +...
