Another I haven't watched much, but curious, how would you compare Ings to Charlie Austin? He seems much more of a classic #9 and would prob command a much higher fee.
Ings is much better for our system, IMO. His movement is cleverer (is that a word?), his finishing is better from distance. His control and touch is vastly superior. He has a MUCH higher upside and is much younger.
10 out of 10 times I'd pick Ings.

I would have no problem with Ings if the price is right.

So do we put our first choice lineup out there on Sunday? We have more than three days rest coming so I would have to think so.
I think allens improvement the last three or so games has really opened up Hendo to go forward more. 2 great goals is the result. I wonder if Stevie will be able to go back to cm or if he'll have to take a playmaker role. Is he a supersub or a starter? BR has got his hands full dealing with a top four race and a legends swan song.

Y'all are better without Stevie.

I believe so. However, we're thin in the midfield right now, so having another capable body goes a long way.

I hope we put our first choice out there, I really want to see them make a push for the Cup and top 4, I think both are achievable for this squad

he would be on a free for anyone this summer
would have to pay a small compensation due to his age though.

I don't think you mess up the lineup right now. Only give Stevie a run out in an attacking position if we're up comfortably.
I think it would be a huge mistake to bring him back in the lineup and I would hope his hubris would say as much.
I'd love to get him a cup as his swan song and have him play a role, but he really has lost his legs. I can't stand seeing him walk around the pitch the way he does. Many times leading to goals.
I think you wait until the Semis and insert him late in the game in case of penalties. Same with Balo. Basically the opposite of what was done in Istanbul.

It looks like both parties want the Ings summer move to happen. The price is said to be around 6m. If he can play off Studge and put it in the back of the net it'll be a steal and we know BR loves young, English talent. Thanks for the info Homey I just got into all the talk on him.

Looking forward to tomorrow, just wish the game wasn't at the same time as LSU baseball

I had to listen on Sirius... Anyone know when the replay will be?

Ugh.... Worst possible result. A replay right before the North West Derby.

Any details? I am still unable to watch due to lack of channels at my temporary home... I am DYING here.
