Great result! Not the prettiest of matches, but we seemed in control. 2 goals, STUDGE, and the clean sheet. I'll take that every time!

Another good performance from Simon as well. He's gaining confidence.

Commentator on the last corner

"Didn't look to be much of a foul did it? Noble just seems to be holding his ground"

He's apparently a big WHU fan who will occasionally write for one of their sites. Also a write for the Sun

He was definitely not shy about hiding his bias

"Carroll's going for the ball. Doesn't seem to have any intent with his elbow. Not a foul for me"

as Can rolls on the ground with blood all over his mouth....

Can anyone explain why Liverpool moved skrtel to the right center back and can to the middle?

Trying to learn, thanks in advance

I'm not 100% sure and I'm not sure if BR addressed it post match... But, IMO, Can seems to be a better "natural" fit for that middle CB/Sweeper role, since he's so good on the ball...

I think he was struggling a little when Valencia was dragging him wide, too (similar to Hazard)... so maybe that was it?? Just guessing on my part...

I missed the match today... Anywhere I can catch a full version online, or a replay somewhere?

Finally saw the goals. Two absolutely beautiful works. First from Sterling. Had a lofty pass from the left wing just outside the box... hit off his chest to Coutinho who gave it back straight away off one touch. Nothing the defender could do, and Sterling put it away nicely past the keep.

Second was from Studge, and it was simple... For him. Assisted by Coutinho yet again. Seems like Coutinho was the guy that made just about every chance happen.

This could be the fappening for the Reds. So glad to see Studge get a goal in his return, especially when he only played ~30 mins.

Coutinho has been fantastic lately, I'm still holding out hope that Balo can make something happen with Sturridge back.
