I have his SS Home Jersey for this season... the only one I bought.. though i wonder if I should plunk down on a Gerrard one, since it's likely his last...

I allow myself 1 per year. I went with Gerrard home for this year, although I'm not a fan of the shirt in general. I don't like that there is no neckline on it. It feels difficult to get my head in and out of.

Are we going to sign a striker, GK or DM? I'm just curious, these are glaring needs to me but it's looking more like FSG will take January off. I think we really need a GK and I can't believe we didn't snap up Song this summer for next to nothing considering his talent level. I'm just curious what you guys thought? I personally don't trust BR right now with cash in his pocket although it looks like we are finding spots for some of our young talent.

I don't know what to think, honestly. I don't know how much of our transfer failures is on BR, and how much of it is on the committee. And no, I don't think Liverpool will sign anybody this winter.

Unfortunately that's looking like the case. Or at best one guy.
But if we don't have the funds for a guy that can come in as a guaranteed starter, I'd rather not spend. No sense in bringing in an Aspas or something.

Not a fantastic first ten minutes. Good energy, but terrible passing. Great early shot by Hendo, however. He was a good ways out when he hit launched that knuckler.

He missed Coutinho making a run the last time. The guy marking him down that left side is playing solid defense on him in 1v1 situations.
That header back to Lallana was great right by the goal. He didn't realize or expect it, or else a good backheel would have buried it.
ETA: Really want to see Johnson and Enrique benched. Also, again, Markovic needs to see time since we continue to lack creativity going forward.
Call me crazy, but I REALLY want to see Borini succeed for some reason. He has had a lot of near goals in his recent appearances. He plays with energy and tenacity... I love that.
