Mullet Cesc. Hair styles have improved in general throughout the sport, except for yesterday when Giroud was sporting the frosted tips.

Arsenal vs. Liverpool for fourth place. Going to be a hell of a season.

Since I'm the ultimate pessimist and cynic I tend to agree. But that's because I'm the ultimate pessimist and cynic. I don't know if Arsenal made me this way, but at least if we do well I'm always pleasantly surprised.

I think we finish at least a solid third. I won't be shocked if we do better.

I'm in this camp. Will be interesting to see who and what position we add to the squad in the next few weeks. Need 3 points out of the gate on Saturday.

I'm starting to LOVE THIS TEAM..

I'll reserve judgment until we finish summer business, but this team could be destined for great things.

My body is ready for Saturday.

people aren't giving us much respect in the title hunt this season. i like it.

i'm interested to see who we sign at CB. Kostas Manolas has been linked to us today.

We need a CB bad.

In order I would say we need a CB >> DM >>>> Striker

yeah, we're definitely gonna sign a CB. maybe a CB/DM. jeremy wilson threw out howedes, goose, and carvalho as guys we're targeting right now, though none of those seem likely. howedes is the captain of a UCL side and will want regular PT, goose just got bought by wolfsburg last year, and carvalho...well, porto isn't the easiest club to deal with.

i think there's only going to be one more signing at this point. would be pretty shocked if anything more than that happened. though a couple of the reputable arsenal journos have said that we'll offload poldi if we sign another attacker.

you are correct. my mistake. should have just stated portuguese teams generally, due to 3rd party ownership.

I think City and Chelsea should still be favored ahead of us based on squads, but I like our chances to make a run at the title. We were in the mix last year and had terrible health luck. We should be deeper and healthier this year.

Yep. Achilles issues scare the shite out of me for his long term fitness.

So our CB options for palace look like... a 19 year old RB/CB, a back-up LB, a youth team spanish kid, and rushing BFG back after wenger saying he is sitting out the first game.

Have there been any updates on Kos other than the initial "he was taken off at half due to a tight Achilles"?
