What an exciting half (for neutral observers)

WTF happened in that game? Absolutely dominated the first half and looked like crap the second time. Another 2-1 result that was ugly but I'll be happy with the 3 points.

Flamini should never see the pitch again.

Great game from the Coq today. Him and Giroud carried the team. Giroud may have had 4 today if Ramsey didn't steal a couple of chances from him.

Yeah it was a tale of two halves for sure. Very impressed with Coq's play (and I wonder where we would be without him), but too many times he lost the ball from not getting it out of his feet fast enough. Giroud was guilty of the same thing. Our sloppiness on the ball was a bit concerning, especially in the box (for whatever unfortunate reason). Danny needs better decision making when he gets on the break. If the keeper and your momentum close off the angle on goal, you got to hit it square. But as per usual, his hustle was great. Not Alexis' best game, and Ramsey was a bit off too, but I think they were still decent. Santi was Santi. Gabriel impressed me today. Kos was solid. Calum did well and his movement was excellent but sometimes he tries to do too much and costs us. Monreal got worked, but Cabella was quite impressive to say the least. Ospina did well. Glad we've kept him in goal.

Coq was a liability in the second half when we were trying to keep the ball, but his work rate negated that defensively.

Although he fell asleep on the goal. Not his best game but he's still a horse.

Yeah he's still a defensive monster, but his dalliances on the ball and lack of first touch passing really showed against Monaco and today. Of course he's like Pirlo in his prime on the ball compared to Flamini so

that 3rd kit looks awful, dear god. I'm fine with the home jersey, collar is whatever but I actually like the sleeve line

So next game is Pool at home. A win would nearly assure Top 4, IMO.

We should have a few extra players back from injury then, yes?

Let us all hope we get zero problems during the international break. As if that is going to happen....

I just picture Ozil walking into the German lockerroom. The training staff takes one look at him and diagnoses him with polio. Somehow, the Arsenal staff never noticed it.

That flick and cross from Sanchez was dirty. I feel like this play is so representative of what he's done so far at Arsenal.
