Obama would replace him with somebody equally hackish so I don't see the point.

Isn't Holder supposed to be stepping down any day now? Thought he was only going to stay two years into the second term.

He should have been removed along time ago. Whatever happened to being held in contempt of congress? GOP worthless yet again.

He said he would make his decision after the election. Didn't tip his hand 'stay or go.'

What crime has been found in the IRS scandal that the Committee isn't investigating? Would Holder get involved in a Contempt of Congress charge?

I'm all fot it. Holder's impeachment is looooonnnnnggggg overdue. He is the worst partisan hack we've had as AG in my lifetime, and I'm old.

The rabble in the House may impeach all they want but it still takes a 2/3 majority in the Senate for a conviction. It's political theater, signifying nothing.

By this logic, we should never arrest any criminals because they'll always be more to take their place.

You people who defend this administration amaze me. These people have been so horrible for America and mainly for the poor people who support them. I can understand being a liberal or Democrat but I can't understand by now still defending what has become the worst administration in my 32 yrs of voting. As for as Holder,it don't matter, he is gone when the other clowns go anyway.

this. Its not going to happen.

I extremely dislike holder, but then I try to recollect a AG that I liked and I can't think of one. Gonzales, ashcroft and reno all sucked, and I thought they were all just as worthy of impeachment as Holder.

Maybe its just an impossible job?

Maybe those in congress should actually worry about passing legislation besides doing this shite. No wonder they have the lowest approval rating ever.

Useless, really. BTW, this whole episode has exposed a new flaw in our system; such being the obvious: The Attorney General/DOJ SHOULD NOT be in any way able to be co-opted by the President. The very idea that a POTUS can appoint someone to virtually UNDERMINE Congressional/Judicial accountability and separation of equal powers is totally impractical.

I think the old system just made the assumption that anybody that won the Presidency, and anybody who rose high enough to be considered for the post of AG...would be impeccably honest.

Well, so much for traditional assumptions. This needs to be fixed. The AG should be a product of the Congress. 2/3 majority in each Branch. They'd have to pick someone everybody knew was honest.

Ugly.
