Tipping for a fishing charter?

$600 for the trip, what's considered a good tip?

I always go with industry standard...15% plus some if the guide worked his butt off.

Have had trips all day, guide worked his arse off, and we put limits in the boat....$150 tip for a $800 all day trip...

Pretty much like everything else--up to 20% for really good service.

I've never been on a chatter with less than four people. We usually tip 100.00- 150.00 each to the capt.

I'd probably give $120 for a good trip. And that would be easily split
