Was told they're better than what you can buy at HEB. Since I need some help smoking brisket was wondering if anyone on here had bought/smoked any from Target.

Bought and smoked one last month. The price was great, the brisket was a brisket. It seemed like the same packer brisket everyone else sells. If the price is right, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I never see them or big cuts of meat at our Super Target. Their meat selection here is pretty weak.
Two Kroger briskets bought a year apart both required extensive trimming of very expensive fat. Kroger even slipped a hunk of loose fat in the cryovac with the last one. They screwed me out of that money, but they won't get any more.
Sam's is my go to place for briskets. Super One has a decent selection too. The Super One also has a lot of stuff like smoked turkey wings, neck bones, pig feet, etc. that can be hard to find.

I almost bought one last week. I think they had them for 2.79/lb. I'm interested to hear if anyone had any luck with them.

But can you take a HEB brisket and make it taste like it was bought at Target? That is the real question!
