Free Sunday Ticket, $25/month credit for 6 months and no new contract to stay with DirecTV.

Told them I was leaving for Cox b/c of SEC Network and they worked this out for me.

But you still don't have the SEC Network, right?

Nice. Now just have to find a way to watch LSU and other SEC teams games.

only NFL I really care to watch any more is just my Saints.. which all are available locally.. or any of the prime time games that are already on regular tv.

would prefer as much college football as possible.. but still cool for you. you got extra stuff well-done!

Just get a buddies cox username, and hook your computer up to your 50 inch tv and VOILA. Im actually thinking of switching to DirecTV and doing this

Seems to me that the big games will continue to be on CBS etc., thus the only SEC games will be the lower games. In the case where LSU is on, either I go to the game, or watch at a bar.

This way, I can follow all of my favorite tigers on other NFL teams not named the Saints.

Nah man, get a friends cox username, log into Watch Espn, hook your computer up to your TV with a HDMI cord and you are good to go

Did you have to strong arm them? Every time I call, they never offer me any deals. Been with them MF'ers since 2005.

want better stuff?

ALWAYS select the "cancel service" in the phone menu. they'll jump through their own assholes. there's a pre-approved list of goodies they are ready to give you just to keep your account.

I'm hoping Direct TV doesn't force me to choose between SEC network and Saints football. Since I live outside of LA, I'd have to find alternative methods to catch several Saints' games.

However, "alternative methods" seem to be easier for NFL over college ball.
