My best guess at Safety (lots of options):
Mills (FS)/Jefferson (SS)

Top TEs:
Smith (receiving)
Gordon (blocking)
Stokes

Dickson will be our most productive TE, but I wouldnt draft an LSU tight end unless you get points for blocking Our safeties will be Mills/Jefferson with a possibility of true freshman 5* Adams getting a chance

I already picked Dural as one of my WR's. I figured with young QB's, the top WR and then the TE would be utilized the most.

For whatever reason us throwing to a TE is about as often as Halley's Comet

Since Cameron has been here so long and we've had so many great TEs since Richard Dickson.

Im not complaining, we had an awesome offense last year. Just saying I wouldnt count on TE being productive for us

You're gonna want Smith at TE.

We are in Rd. 10 already, so I am looking for guys who nobody is really thinking about, but will contribute. 14 of us are drafting, so most of the noticeable guys are gone.

I have Dural, Rasco, and Rashard from LSU already. I am expecting good things from all of them.

IMO
FS: Mills (assuming no legal troubles) SS: Martin

Who knows? I'd go with Q. Thomas, though, if for whatever reason you have to pick one of our DL.

Yeah, safety is hard to nail down. Martin has all the physical tools, but he had a lot of personal stuff on his plate last year. And I REALLY like what I saw out of Jefferson. No shortage of options, that's for damn sure.

S:

The truth is nobody knows. Jalen Mills probably has one spot on lock. Beyond that, you'll hear some say Ricky Jefferson (my guess bc he is the most talented). Others will tell you Ronald Martin (the senior) or Corey Thompson (coming back from injury). Then we have a true freshman, Jamal Adams, who is a true impact player.

So the truth is that nobody knows, except that Mills is almost certainly starting in one spot (at least for now).

The safety position at LSU could be the same as last year -- a revolving door.

DT:

Much easier. Quentin Thomas and Christian Lacouture are the starters. Backups are Marquedius Bain, Frank Herron, and Greg Gilmore -- all three redshirt freshmen.

TE:

There has been a lot of talk about utilizing a TE split wide in LSU's offense this season because a) we lack a go-to WR for now and b) we have a mismatch at TE in DeSean Smith.

So for blocking purposes your starter is Dillon Gordon, backed up by Logan Stokes. When we split a TE wide you can expect to see Smith. At the h-back mode you can expect to see the 5th year senior, Travis Dickson.

You'll be glad you did take Smith this year. Could be our #3 pass catcher.

Mt. Gilmore

In a battle for the two deep with Frank Herron and Marquedius Bain. The best of the class turned out to be Christian Lacouture, who did not redshirt last year (unlike the others).

Funny how that works out. Herron was a 5-star, the others 4-stars, and Lacouture the lone 3-star. Guess which one walked in and played last year?
