Groom wants inshore fishing in Louisiana , 8 guys max, and of course a place to stay and get a little crazy that night. Assume no budget, but cheaper is better
GO!
Edit: probably should have said this, but the groom fishes big lake fairly often and wants somewhere different

Infinitely seconded.
If the groom doesn't go for that:
Stay in NOLA. Fish Delacroix.
But I like Big Lake better.

Drop Gray Plantation and play The National instead, everything else okay.

Would he be up for bowfishing?

Do charter captains usually bring 2 boats? Is the price then doubled? I ask because I haven't ever heard of it.

Most of them are pretty friendly with each other. If you have a trip that would require two boats I'm sure they could work it out. No doubt the price would be doubled though.

Some have a crew of several guides for trips like this

That kinda sucks if yall are just gonna be going to the same areas

Yeah, probably not ideal for this trip and 8 people fishing in the same spots either unless they really get into em

If you're plan on actually fishing I'd stay away from grand isle

Bowfishing sounds like a better thing then. You can get drunk as frick at night and not worry about killing anyone

We tried that for my brother. Ended up getting canceled due to weather. Still pissed about that.

Huh? You can't shoot a bow in the rain?

I've never been hit by lightning in a boat

Get with Todd Dufour and Scott Poche. You'll have two good guides and can enjoy the culture of Lafitte, LA.

Grand isle, deep south sportsman was there and can vouch for the good times, arties was a success also. I Fished Friday and saturday, it can be done! Also the island is usually full of girls waiting to make dumb decisions, but hey what do I know mine was a blast back in May
