Why would anyone choose to own a Blackberry?

It is like this company tries to make their phones as non-intuitive as possible. My work Z10 is a complete POS.
Someone tell me Blackberry is about to go toes up.

They are about to release a new brick this year, not giving up yet.

The only person I know who still owns a blackberry is required to do so by his company... and it is a very large company.

Some large companies use them because of the amount of control they have when running a Blackberry Enterprise Server

got to be one of the worst managed companies out there these days. They should have abandoned phones and went into a pure enterprise software model years ago.

I loved my Z10. Easier to use than my Galaxy S5, imo.

I use a Z30 here, one of the last hold outs in my company.
I am running 10.2.1.3247, and waiting on 10.3.X
I do not use a lot of apps, but between BB World and Android apps from Amazon, I got everything I need.
I won't slam other devices, but I will choose Blackberry as long as they are around.

Better security and management for large companies.

The Passport BlackBerry has coming out looks interesting. Looks really good for spreadsheets.

BlackBerry has been dead and buried for years, right?
Meanwhile, I still enjoy the QWERTY keyboard on the Bold 9000.

I'm curious what you think is non-intuitive about your Z10. Care to share what you don't like about it?

Seriously. We'd like to help.
1. Tell us what OS you are on? 10.1 or 10.2.1?
2. What are your top 3 problems with it?

I never thought there was really anything wrong with Blackberries except for the fact that they aren't really made for consumers. They're work phones.
Not my cup of tea but I won't bash them. They seem to be good for what they were designed for.

Don't know what IOS off the top of my head.
I don't like the gestures required by the device mainly. Would it have been so hard to give the phone a home button similar to the iPhone? Why am I having to swipe up, right, etc. just to complete a simple task?
Why is the charging port on the right side so that it is incredibly awkward / difficult to hold the phone and talk while it is connected to a charger?
The BB hub is annoying to me. I have an email but now I'm swiping and scrolling just to get to the email 'app.'

Swipe from top for settings. Look for "about". Will find OS version.
I like being able to keep apps open while I check mail. I also like having it all on one list instead of five different apps for emails, texts, and FB.
You do know you can customize the hub, right? I took out the calls and twitter. Was annoying
Get a charging bundle. You can just swap out batteries when one runs down.

This is exactly what BlackBerry was trying not to do. If you don't like the gestures then the OS will never sit well with you. Jumping in and out of apps using a home button was something they were trying to avoid and differentiate themselves with.
The gestures feel natural to me and when using an iPhone I hate having to click the home button to switch between apps. I've never used an Android so I can't make a fair comparison with that.
