It's a beautiful day in New Orleans.

I'm hearing 18-22 years.

Word is that he turned down a deal that would have given him 5-7 years but his arrogant arse thought he could beat the charges.

Rot in hell Ray Nagin

Berrigan: sentencing should reflect that Nagin can't hold public office again.

You think Nagin will be locked up at the same place as Jefferson?

In think Jefferson is locked up in Virgina or North Carolina.

I doubt he gets a sweet sentence like Edwards got in Oakdale.

There was an article in on nola.com yesterday on how he went into financial ruin. Pretty interesting.

I enjoyed the Op/ed the other day that the city should hire him and essentially garnish his wages to pay back the money.

Nothing could go wrong.

Wish he would get life.

But, his wife says he is innocent.

It is pretty sick how Nagin could talk about chocolate city like that and there was no national outrage and the local media just laughed it off. He didn't own the clippers though so harm done I guess

Jefferson is at Oakdale now.
Aaron Broussard is at the beach in Pensacola, Peter Galvin is in Pollack (LA) and Jiff Hingle is in SC (Edgewood, I think).

Seems like a long time.
Also, he is getting put in jail for wrongful use of taxpayer money, yet in jail he will be supported by tax payer money.... Just sayin
