Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Monday that Democrats will take up legislation in the “coming weeks” to address last month’s Supreme Court decision that allowed some employers with religious objections to opt out of Obamacare’s contraception mandate.

Democrats on Capitol Hill have overwhelmingly criticized the high court’s ruling in the Hobby Lobby case and are working to craft a response that would restore the coverage, though no specifics have yet been outlined.

“We’re going to do something about the Hobby Lobby legislation,” Reid said on the Senate floor Monday as he ticked off the Senate’s to-do list over the next several weeks.

It's probably just going to be an official resolution saying this ruling sucks and that's the end of it. And Lulz at him calling a SCOTUS ruling "legislation".

Move along Harry.

SCOTUS rulings have consequences?

ETA: Please do it before November. Thanks.
Signed, the Republican National Committee

Maybe the president can just issue one of his many edicts to simply ignore laws he doesn't like?

That's pretty fricking sorry. Reid is moving into House of Representatives territory (historical, not just this Congress).

It's settled law, right?

Of course, this is part of the proud D tradition of defying the courts.

Does anybody know offhand how many women of Hobby Lobby were using one of these 4 drugs that have been exempted?

Reid really is nothing more than a demagogue at this point, but then again, what politician in DC isn't?

It's pandering to the low-IQ voter. He can't do anything about it. As much as I hate the GOP, I really hope they take the senate in November. First, to watch the liberal and progressive meltdown. Second, to get rid of Reid.

But let me guess, Roe v. Wade isn't legislation since the Democrats agree with the decision?

I hope it's something like when Scott Walker won his recall. I'll never forget the democracy died tonight guy. Lol, when was it ever alive? We are not a democracy.

What a tool. Democracy died because a guy outright won a popular election twice.
