So if you have Direct TV, go complain about not having the SEC Network NOW!

There was a thread about this a week or so ago. I decided to call them up and complain about that. They upgraded all my receivers with the genie, gave me NFL sunday ticket for 1 year, knocked off 25 bucks from my bill.

When is your contract up. If people have a year or so left, i doubt they will give up much.

SEC network deal will probably happen before basketball season, which is really all that matters. Only 1 lsu football game on the sec network this year.

What group did you speak to? Promotion people? or did you say you are considering switching providers?

My friends do this often. DirecTV will haggle with you all the time about getting free shite here or extra shite there or discounts on your bill. It's sort of a game. But they get some pretty killer deals out of it.

Do that. Tell them SEC Network isn't going to be on dtv, if they give you some bullshite about at&t buying out dtv, just act like that doesn't matter.

..I know that the SEC Network has asked us (DirecTV customers) to tell them that we want their network.
As a very satisfied DirecTV customer I want to know if there is a forum where I can ask the SEC Network to reach an agreement with them? Negotiating is a two way street! !

we did this because we have had to reboot our main receiver twice a day for over a week...told them to get it fixed or we were cancelling and going to AT&T...they pulled the whole early term fee and we said that was still cheaper than paying for crap service...my sister negotiated a free channel or 2 and a monthly discount for the next 6 months.
Also asked about SEC Network and told us it was in the works.

this is what she will ask for if we have to call back...we were so pissed when we called, we were ready to cancel on the spot and pay out the contract right then. Surprised they didn't offer this. Except it was my sis that called and not my BIL. Of course, he woulnd't know what the Sunday Ticket was. Stupid California boy.
