I really enjoyed it and I'd recommend it to anyone. There are two versions of the game.

Nier Replicant (PS3 only)
Nier Gestalt (Xbox 360/PS3)

There are a few differences between the two.

Replicant - You play as Nier, the brother of the girl you are trying to save, and the game is in Japanese.

Gestalt - You play as Nier, the father of the girl you are trying to save, and the game is in English.

There are a few other storylines differences, but nothing big. I played Gestalt.

The story is great and has multiple endings, depending on which playthrough you are on.

RPGs are the champagne of video games.

The CoDs are the natty lights of video games.

I'm not a huge fan of FFVII, but Aerith's Theme is quite beautiful.

And of course, Shadow's Theme from FF6
