Does anyone have any experience with getting a citizen of Belieze a non-immigrant travel visa to come to the US to visit for 30 days? One of our lead guys is from Belize, here legally and wants his wife and daughter to come visit for a month. He asked if I could help him with this process and just thought I would put it out there to see if anyone has experience with this. I have a call into a immigration attorney that does some work for us even though this isn't really a immergratin issue, they don't want to stay just visit.

Yeah, I started there and the form DS-160, just curious if anyone has any personal eperiene. I would think it shouldn't be difficult, I think US is pretty friendly with Belize. I hope the recent immigration cluster doesn't screw it up for legal people just wanting to travel

As long as the travelers have a valid itinerary, they shouldn't have problems.

I added Belmopan to the origination city and it said it takes two days to process.

Doesn't seem too difficult, but it looks to cost $160 to apply.

I get the itinerary part, I just hate to waste money on plane tickets etc if not guaranteed that they will get it. We are paying for flights etc as part of a bonus for him

when they apply, they have to interview.

The question is always this, does the officer believe you have reason to return to Belize?

If they think that you can pick up and go, you will be denied a visa.

Probably easier than going through the proper channels.

You can get an itinerary without actually buying the ticket.

I think you can visit the US up to 6 months without having a travel visa

They just finished building a reasonably nice house on their family farm where other family members have houses, a number of others in the family have travel visas etc, I wonder if this will qualify them. They really just want to visit and have no desire to stay, strange right
