We just did a half day. If you're heading that way, stop at Bearizona.

Stay long enough to hike down to the river and back. Want to do that myself one day. Didn't get to last time I was there.

Same and are you driving from New Mexico check out land of
Fire and ice. It's a volcano with lava plumes filled with ice. They have an old saloon and used to store the alcohol down there

I don't know why but thread titles written in this manner always amuse me.

I'm going on friday with family and some relatives. I don't think we are doing too much grueling outdoorsman shite.

take the mules down the trail, but everyone in your group has to be under 200 pounds.

We hiked and camped on the north rim, much better than going down into the ditch.

Yes, North Rim. You can combinetcombinetgt with Zion and Bryce Canyon National Park soonthe same trip if you have time. North rim is significantly different than the South Rim (which you typically see pictures of). It's higher elevation, and only open certain months of the year, and has some different scenery.

Drive through wildlife park. It's like Jurrasic Park but with real animals. You get a GPS receiver when you get into the park. When you're about to pull into an exhibit, it will say "you are now entering the grey wolf exhibit; please make sure your windows are rolled up." Really cool.

Lots of this kind of stuff.

We went for a 1/2 day on the way back from Vegas 2 years ago. Was not prepared at all for what we witnessed. It was absolutely breathtaking. I wish we had devoted more time to it, but we were already in hurry and didn't get to spend much time there. We plan on taking another trip soon and devote it entirely to Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon

I was there yesterday. It is an amazing place. We did a helicopter ride from the south rim and it was worth every penny. Next time we plan on spending more time and going to the bottom of the canyon.

Do the north rim. Less touristy. The drive there is pretty awesome
