Phone cases - HTC One M8
Posted by Neauxla on 7/7/14 at 8:03 am00
Which one should I get? I normally don't use a case but this phone feels slick as hell in my hand and I am bound to drop it.

i got this one for $15 LINK
it's pretty durable and not obtrusive
and yes, the M8 is extremely slick without a case
ETA: apparently there are lots of people who don't like what this does to the flash/camera, but i haven't noticed that stuff. if you use your phone as a shutterbug, you may have complaints

Yeah I read there is some flash glare w/ that case. Looks really nice though.

have you tried trimming the plastic around the camera?

I’ve used cases from Cruzerlite back since my EVO LTE. That phone survived a drop from a 12 foot ladder onto a wooden floor and kept ticking (only some plastic seemed to have chipped off which I didn't notice until I took the phone out of the case) so I’m a little partial to them. I have the same case on my S4 but the plastic cover has developed some cracks. The metal shouldn't have any issue with this case.

I love my UAG case, but feel the need to go without a case sometimes. I got a clear wrap for from and back that helps a lot with the grip.

I have an otterbox on mine. Its OK I guess. The only thing I dont like about it is that I have just had the phone and case about 2 months now and the rubber edges in the corners are starting to come a little loose. Not really a big deal but it annoys me sometimes.

I went with your suggestion. So far so good. Still debating a Zagg glass screen protector.
