I'm normally a heavy sleeper and keep a decent schedule. The last week or so, I'm up until 4 or 5 and up at 7, and despite being tired, here I am, bitching about it here. Any suggestions outside of drugs and fapping to break this cycle?

Turn off all electronics, turn off the lights, close your eyes, concentrate on breathing.

At this point, I'd just take the drugs and start fapping...

Minus the concentration on breathing, I did this for the first few nights. Brain seems to be working overtime at night.

I know you said no drugs, but just take a sleeping pill.

Just breathe, bro. You might need to see a doctor. Are you stressed?

Don't smoke, and I actually gave up drinking a month or so ago. I honestly think that is part of the problem.

oh I used to get soooo aggravated with an ex that would tell me to do this to try and battle my insomnia.... Like I hadn't tried that 526283 times. I guess the 526284th time it may just magically work

I'm sure me going off on her a time or two had nothing to do with me being on the edge and sleep deprived like a meth head locked in an ephedrine warehouse.

I can have trouble sleeping too, but I've learned to just breathe and relax. Yoga has helped me do it a lot easier, though.

Yeah, if you're diagnosed with insomnia, then that sucks.

Stay up all night. It will suck. But you will sleep better tomorrow night. It will help you get on a better sleeping pattern.

I've only done yoga a couple times and I did enjoy it. I work out over 5 or 6 days a week, which is great and leaves me physically tired, but I still can't sleep for some damn reason.

Listen to sleep hypnosis videos on youtube. Find one that you like that calms you and slows your mind down. Even something like the waves of the beach on a quiet setting can your put your mind at ease.

Working out late at night can actually keep you up.

Not a bad idea. I may do a little searching to see if I find one I like.

As for working out late at night, I actually do workouts during my lunch hour.
