My bad. It was a joke from another thread. I can't help you with anything here. Good luck finding a place to play and learn.

I never played with anyone in the LSU pick up soccer group but it seems like a fun way to get some games in. A lot of people play pick up at Burbank fields on Sunday.

If you've never played I suggest you just go out with some friends one day and kick at a goal and little and just pass it back and forth to each other. Not that pick up is super intense or anything.but it's better to get a feel for the game at a slow pace before just throwing yourself in a game.

Pick up group is awesome. I'm super active in it. We have a lot of fun and have watch parties and shite.

What he said. People are generally pretty cool with newer players. Just work hard, especially on defense, and you'll be fine. Premier Center is fun too. However, you have to be in pretty good shape to last at that pace.

This makes me so happy to hear. I started that group just from me organizing pickup games with friends. 3 years later the group has almost 1000 members. It blows me away. Glad to hear the friendly spirit is still there. What have y'all been using for goals? I used to bring out my pugg goals but I live in NOLA now. I'll be back in Baton Rouge a bit next year and will definitely try to get some games in with y'all.

Some days it's shoes. Some days people bring small goals. Some days it's cones. Some days it's trash cans at the UREC. Pretty much anything a ball can pass through.
