But the problem with ESPN is that players once they clear waivers, players are not accessible to be picked up immediately.

You have to wait until the next bidding proce

People put in bids Tuesday on players. Wednesday morning, you lost out on Lance Moore to someone who placed a higher bid.

You can't go and pick up someone in Free Agency. You're stuck with what you have until the next waiver period.

Nope. And if there is a way, I've never figured it out. Been on ESPN and using FAAB in home leagues for a good while now.

I run a league that uses RT...and we did this last year:

Free Agent Auction Bidding

Teams will have a specific budget with which they can make player acquisitions, and all acquisitions will be done in batches one or more times each week.

If a team would like to add a player, that team will secretly bid a certain amount. On the next waiver process day, the team with the highest bid will be awarded the player, and the bid will be subtracted from that team's budget.

No FA pickups after the weekly auctions are run. All FAs (and recently dropped players) are all locked until the weekly auctions run the following week.

I told VKC about it once he moved his baseball league to ESPN. He wasn't able to figure something out, either.
