This season?

I like to think Travonte will be in the mix early especially with how thin we are at DT.

Redshirt freshmen?

OL: None
DL: Bain, Herron, Gilmore, Patterson

dL - travonte valentine will see the field ala Christian lacouture

oL- will be tough but I think the Juco Dormond will see minutes with the 2's

Look out for godchaux too if he's in good enough physical shape

Class of 2015, right?

travonte valentine

I believe he has the talent but Bain, Herron, and Gilmore have a serious head start on him. Lacouture had a better situation, as last year we lacked talent at DT after Freak, Ego, and QT.

O-line - lets just say Fanaika starts at guard, that leaves Pocic, Washington, Boutte and Austin without even listing any RS or True freshman. Any reps for Dodd, Brumfield, Clapp or KJ will be with 2nd team. The future is definitely bright with our OL.

d-line: Valentine was rated #3 DT last year. Watching his film, I don't see him staying away from the field long. Even with Bain, Gilmore and Herron having a year in the system. We just need this group to step up early and play to their potential.

Domond will be 2nd string right tackle.

Valentine should get some quality reps

He's reclassified to 2014 and will arrive in august. Guy is a an absolute beast

Valentine will play bc there is literally no defensive tackle with his shear size and girth on the team. I think they coach him up and he plays 3rd down and short situations and on second team defense. He's going to be a monster. I see Albert haynesworth all over this kid

Haven't heard much on Godchaux since signing day, what's the word on him? How big is he now?

Another question, who gets more reps this season: Clapp or Brum.

No freshman on the OL will make an impact sans a string a of injuries.

There could be 1 or 2 freshmen DL who get some playing time though, not counting the redshirt freshmen

Valentine better report in excellent condition if he is going to play. Him having to wait until August to get to campus will hurt his chances of playing early
