I'd be completely befuddled if either of the keeper rumors come to pass. Stockdale is a perfectly fine keeper for the Championship. But Bogdan is in the last year of his deal at Bolton so I'm sure they will want to move him if he is unhappy. I'm just not a terribly huge fan.
The Qatari rumors for Dejagah keep persisting. Talks of a £5m fee offered by Al-something or other. Be hard to turn down the money, but I'd be highly disappointed at losing him. Not sure how keen he is on the move either.

Not sure who RadioMonumental is, but they put it on Twitter saying Ruiz will be playing with Fulham this season. This is the first news, rumor or suggestion of any kind about Ruiz I've heard in a few days since apparently Olympiacos wanted him on a free.

Seeing as how we are pretty thin at central midfield at the moment I hope Ruiz stays. Have him play as a #10 with McCormack and Rodallega up top.

Shite as he has been over the past couple of years, he'd be a great player to have in the Championship. Especially since, as you say, we are very thin in midfield. Parker provides leadership, but youth abounds there. Having at least Ruiz does stabilize the lineup while guys like Christensen and Hyndman get their bearings.
Also crucial if we can hang on to Dejagah despite all the transfer rumors. Kacaniklic has shown flashes of how good he can be. No idea what the plans are with Cole, Tunnicliffe and Mesca.

More Stockdale rumors: Now reported that Brighton are interested in him for £1m. They wanted Stephen Henderson, but he chose to go to Charlton instead.
Jack Butland also rumored for there, but I doubt Stoke do anything but loan him out, so Stockdale may still be a long-term target for them.
Would really rather not lose him.

AHA! Sky Sports reporting that Leicester midfielder Andy King is being pursued by Watford, Wigan and your Fulham Football Club.
If we could somehow land King, that might take the sting off losing another player before it's all said and done. He had a very nice campaign going for Leicester last season but seemed to fall out of favor for some reason.

Another midfielder is in: 21-year-old Thomas Eisfeld from Arsenal. I honestly know nothing about him. Can anyone fill in any details?

he's an attacking midfielder with a very good goalscoring record. doesn't really do much else well on the pitch though. like a caricature of Lampard stereotypes.
he could probably bang in some goals in the championship though.

We've also signed 26-year-old Adil Chihi. Another guy I haven't heard of. But he was part of an FC Koln team that got promoted last year so that experience could prove useful. Only played in 1 game though it looks like he's here for depth.

Chihi can sit in midfield or play just off a central forward if necessary. Agree he is a depth play at this point.

For what it's worth, this is the squad Magath is taking to Florida:
GOALKEEPERS (2): Bettinelli, Joronen
DEFENDERS (6): Amorebieta, Burgess, Hoogland, Hutchinson, Stafylidis, Voser
MIDFIELDERS (4): David, Eisfeld, Hyndman, R. Williams
FORWARDS (4): Dembélé, Roberts, Rodallega, G. Williams

I'm OK with that. I'd rather him stay healthy over prove nothing against DC United in what is purely a Shad show in Jacksonville. Have not been a huge fan of this one-off overseas friendly since the preseason schedule was released.

All kinds of Hugo Rodallega rumors floating around right now. At first thought we would let him go on a free, but apparently the club want some kind of transfer fee as a means to recoup the absurd wages he has been receiving (reportedly £65K-£70K/week). Pachuca are on the rumor list, which makes sense since they sold Enner Valencia, but not sure Hugo is ready to pack up for the Home Depot just yet.
I feel like he could be a very useful player this season, and at the end of last season he showed a lot of fight and character when much of the team did not.

Heard Rodellega wanted to go to River Plate.
You got a good one in Eisfeld.

Financially it would make sense I guess, but I would be disappointed to lose Hugo. We would still have some interesting striker options, but a bit of a lack of pace.

Saw we've added two more friendlies in Austria next week against teams from Azerbaijan and Turkey. Still wishing this game in Jacksonville wasn't happening, but glad that McCormack and some of the other first team boys will get another run out prior to Ipswich.

Can't find any solid articles on it so I'm not fully believing it until I see something more reputable, but rumors on twitter are that Dejagah is about to move to Al-Arabi in Qatar. I've seen we get 5 million and Dejagah gets paid 100K a week.
