Don't ask me how, other than not paying attention.
Long story short, decided to root my phone (again) today. Unlocked the bootloader, installed custom recovery and custom ROM. No issues.
Then I decided to delete custom ROM and install another. Here's where my mistake came in. Ended up deleting the stock ROM for my phone.
I can get into bootloader and TWRP. No issues there. Unfortunately for me, I can't get my phone to be recognized by my computer to transfer ANY ROM over to my internal card. There no files on the internal SD card.
I've read and I can't figure out how to use ADB sideload feature (I did manage to install the ADB drivers for Windows correctly).
And that's where I am at. Phone is completely useless to me right now.
Suggestions? Anyone local (BTR) that can correct my mistake? I'll glad pay for your time after I have wasted 5 hours of mine.

Easy fix. Go to radio shack and pick up this:
20 bucks
Download Rom to PC. Plug this bad boy in to PC. Drag and drop file to drive. Unplug and plug into your phone while in twrp recovery. Tap on install and at the very top bar you will see internal storage. Tap on it and select OTG. This is the flash drive storage. You will see the Rom zip. Flash it and all will be fixed.
Note that you have to give the drive 10 to 20 seconds or so when you plug it in the phone to read the drive. If you click on OTG and don't see the Rom zip just click back on internal storage then back on the OTG drive again and it should appear.
If you just want me to fix it I can do it in like 5 minutes. What Rom you using? I'm on viper 6.2.1

I was on LiquidSmooth before my "accident." I had planned on installing Viper.
Are you local (BTR)?

I live in Watson. Work at OLOL by interstate in Walker.

Did you do the same with your phone? Is that how you know how to fix it with micro USB jump drive?
Posted on 7/5/14 at 12:27 am to Will Cover
Yep. Just did it the other day actually. Flashed an OTA update that failed and didn't have a backup stored to refer to. Once you do this fix and get you phone back to normal, you need to back it up in twrp just in case this ever happens again.

I am going to follow your directions. If I fail, I will bump this thread and track you down.
Where did you go to find this option or did you figure it out on your own?

I asked in the viper thread on XDA developers forum.
LINK
Make sure you update to a newer firmware/twrp recovery before flashing a new Rom. There are some good no wiping firmwares available that have the latest twrp/radio/firmware all in one. Won't wipe the SD card.

What version of twrp are you on?
If you do go with Viper, also flash the elementalX kernel. It has tap to wake, logo2menu and other great features.

I will check back with you tomorrow to make sure you got it done.

elementalX kernel.
How is that vs bulletproof and stock?
Posted on 7/5/14 at 2:23 pm to Hu_Flung_Pu
It's awesome. Never used bulletproof, but ElementalX is one of the best and most popular kernels out there that I know of. Of course it's the only custom kernel I have ever used, so I'm prolly not the best person to compare.

Had to re-download Viper. Apparently, I had a corrupt file.
Transferred it to micro-USB drive. Could not get the phone to recognize. Rebooted TWRP twice.
And it finally recognized USB drive. 75 % done as I type.
100 %. Phone rebooting. Taking a while.
Seeing white screen with VIPER One.
It's working!
Can't thank you enough. Appreciate your help!

Anytime. You can flash anything with that drive. Firmware, kernels, recovery, etc...
Do a backup now in twrp.....

Having some issues with Viper. I rebooted and I am stuck at start up screen. May need to reinstall as I don't think it took.
But nonetheless, I'm confident I can get back into my phone with this drive.

Yes you can. I tried an android revolution Rom and it just wouldn't work. So I stuck with Viper. It's my favorite Rom anyway. Try a reflash. You may need to update your firmware and twrp recovery.
