Will there ever be a TV deal in the US for the Championship?

Obviously the NBCSN set up for the Premier League is unprecedented.

And you can watch La Liga, Serie A on bein and the Bundesliga is coming to Fox eventually I guess.

Would there be any sort of market for this? I enjoy watching the Championship.

Eta: English Championship. Sorry

beIN has Championship rights

I would assume that they do a decent job of throwing them up on beIN Play, but I'm a Comcast customer

No. Nor should there be.

The minor leagues and D-league will also not be getting TV deals, even thought they're at least based in America.

I've never checked the BeIN Play options but they show a couple of matches per week on BeIN.

I would much prefer the Champions League over the Championship League. The Championship League is the soccer equivalent of golf's "Nationwide Tour".

I find it funny that people won't watch MLS because it's an "inferior league"...but then they go and watch the Championship

well yeah it's about the same level... but one has Wolves and one doesn't

the Championship outdraws and plays better football than most of the major leagues in Europe

i'm pretty sure i can watch the D-League, AHL, and Arena Football on tv though

NBDL airs on CBSSN and NBATV. Many teams also have local tv deals.

It's funny how much that whole "second tier" tag tricks Americans into thinking the MLS is on the same level as the FL Championship.

The MLS can't even go deep in the CONCACAF Champions League for fricks sake. I enjoy the MLS too, but come on.

I used to think the MLS was on par with the Championship as well, until I actually watched a few championship games
