When cooking ribs using the 3-2-1 method, saving the juice after the 2 hour mark

When I do ribs,I cook them using the 3-2-1 method. If you are unfamiliar, 3 hours uncovered, 2 hours wrapped in foil with apple juice, 1 hour basting with bbq sauce.
I make my own bbq sauce, and was curious if saving the apple juice and incorporating it into the sauce would be worth it.
Sorry to start a new ribs thread, just curious if anyone else does this.
Thanks in advance

I use some of the drippings to put in my baked beans.

I usually drain off the grease before using it. Best way I've found is use a zip lock bag.
Pour the drippings in a zip lock bag. Cut a small hole about an inch away from one of the upper corners and hang up the bag for about 20 minutes. This will allow the grease to separate.
Now squeeze a lower corner between two fingers and cut 1/8 of an inch off the tip. You can now drain the drippings off and discard the grease.
