I get home today, and someone is in my designated parking spot. I picked a spot in the lot that has an empty spot on either side of it (to avoid door dings), so I was able to find a parking spot with no problem, so I'm not really pissed about it. But at the same time, I do pay $200/mo extra for a parking spot, so if they keep it up then we will have a problem.

But since I'm off work today and it's raining, I have some free time and I thought it would be fun to mess with the person. Not in a "flatten their tires" way, more of a "calling you out but not in a pissed off" way so that they don't do it again.

I'm open to any ideas from the OT, and Happy 4th to y'all.

Sad thing is, I actually moved to a new apartment partly because this is some of the cheaper parking in the city. Place I was before wanted $450/mo, so I said screw it and parked on the street. But that was a pain.

If it is designated as yours, call a tow truck now.

I know, and I could have management do that, but honestly I'm not mad enough to do that. If I hadn't easily been able to park immediately next to my parking spot, I would have had them towed. I more just want to mess with them in a way that lets them know they can't do it again, but I don't feel like ruining their holiday over it.

Love where your head is at, but it's an underground garage so no birds.

This, its not like this was assigned and came with the Apt. You actually pay 200 a month for it.

just leave a note and explain most days the lot is full and you would need to tow them away but in the future, please be considerate of where you park.

No argument, I know that I definitely have the right to call a tow truck, but really I just am not mad enough about it to do that. If they do it again, I absolutely will, but for now I just want to fire a warning shot.

First step is leave a note.

Had an issue with folks across the street from me parking on a curb that was no parking. Left note, called cops and got them ticketed, it stopped. It's a rental so I have to go through the same ordeal every year or so.
