Saudi Arabia deployed 30,000 soldiers to its border with Iraq after Iraqi soldiers abandoned the area, Saudi-owned al-Arabiya television said on Thursday, but Baghdad denied this and said the frontier remained under its full control.

Are the Arabs about to join forces with ISIS and flank the Iraqis from the south? Isn't the southern part of the country the predominately Shiite region?

What do you mean "about to join forces"?
From whence do you suspect ISIS gets its funding and support now?

We are watching the genesis of the Islamic State in the entire ME. One big Islamic state, all under control of the Saudis.

No - they can't do that unless our relationship with ISIS is clarified. It's muddy as it is.
Right now, I have no idea what our policy is towards ISIS.

It's a defensive measure. So ISIS doesn't get control of oilfields.

I wish they would. They'd be a lot easier to deal with if it was just one big country.

I'm not quite seeing that yet.
At the least, I see a massive pissing match coming between the Saudis, the Iranians, and the Turks to determine which one is the huge regional power.

Apparently neither does anyone in the Obama administration.

It has nothing to do with ISIS, on the contrary Saudis are supporting ISIS against Iraq gov
they are worried about pay back when Iraq starts to instigate the majority Shia population in Najaf
