love how most people still think that "aryan" means blonde hair and blue eyes...when in reality its more of olive/tanned skin and darker hair.

It sounds like her story about them labeling her "the perfect Aryan baby" is rather unsubstantiated unless you believe her recounting of what the photographer supposedly claimed to her family over 75 years ago.
Also, the fact that they chose a baby with dark hair and brown eyes to be on the cover of a family life magazine should further illustrate that the sensationalized myth, so popular in the US pop culture today, in respect to "blonde hair blue eyes" being a cornerstone of Nazi ideology is completely exaggerated.
The Germans also had a significant number of half-Jewish persons in their military service. Erhard Milch being one of the most prominent.
