That we actually have an Independence Day?

As I was sloshing around my pool a while ago reflecting on our independence and how great it is to be an American I couldnt help but think about the Middle East and all the turmoil going on there. That led me to start reflecting on how shitty it must be to live in that kind of natural state. Desert, windy, no grass no swimming pools no golf courses. Just a shite hole

That all led me to this, how important was the fact that America was offered endless amounts of new, fertile land to grow crops, raise livestock, access to fresh water etc
.

Just how important did the fruitfulness of the new Americas play a part in us celebrating our freedom today?

Happy Independence Day everyone

I just wish the Fourth of July came in October when it wasn't so damn hot.

The Muslim world also conducts Ramadan around the time we celebrate Independence Day.

Laborers were biting wet rags while working outside while I was in Kuwait in July 2012.

Meh, the middle east could be a lot nicer if the people would stop making it hell on earth.
