Houston had this up for Melo:

He should be grateful for making 24 mil over 3 yrs to be a backup pg. If Melo wore #34 they would have photoshopped that on the jersey as well

Its not a matter of it being that big, its a matter of Houston not having enough money to pay Melo without dumping both Asik and Lin.

I actually thinks it's 25 mil. He gets 15 mil this year because of how his contract is structured. Only counts 8.3 against the cap though
