This is literally the ONLY thing I like about afternoon games in Death Valley. Stadium always is electric after the announcement.
Fwiw Dan saying "And it will be Saturday Night in Death Valley" gives me chills everytime. So if you don't like Borne and his soccer announcer style TD announcements.....

First off - I'm not even sure what this means. He wrote a poem and people liked it. WHAT A SELFISH SON OF A BITCH.
This season will be his 30th as the PA announcer in Tiger Stadium. All while holding down a regular job. The poem has been around for what - 5, 6 years?

Well, saying "regular job" is probably not really fair. He's the president of the Louisiana Chemical Association. He also does PA for basketball games - not that there's any point in even talking to you because you're clearly completely fricking clueless.
Borne is probably ranked about 923,274,237th on the list of LSU personalities, employees, etc. deserving of vitriol.
Anyone that knows anything knows that Dan is beyond a class act and absolutely loves LSU. So I'll just keep it at that.
