When did this bullshite start? I knew non-customers cant cash checks in drive thru but I had no idea banks were starting to charge a check cashing fee. Total BS imho although I really don't cash checks often.

Anyone else experience this butt pummeling?

I would have gotten my check back and went somewhere else. Who do you bank with?

Every bank I know of charges you a fee to cash a check if you're not a client. Nothing new there. Been that way for a while.

Other banks? I'm not talking check cashing places. I didn't know big name banks do this shite.

Out of curiosity, why would you not cash it at your bank?

It either needs to be cashed at your bank or the bank that the check is drawn on to usually avoid fees.

Regions started charging me $8 a month just to have a checking account and they didn't tell me it was going to happen after a decade of not doing that.

I only keep that account open for family money sharing reasons. frick them.

Why not just deposit it at your bank and pull cash later?

$6 isn't bad.

Check cashing place I go to every Friday costs me $7.99.
