Where can I download one without getting a bunch of viruses? The websites that show on my Google search look a little shady

I think the one I use is SNES9X. I'll have to confirm that when I get home this evening.
Been using this one for years and have had zero problems with it.

Or I could play all of the old games I used to have for free

Before companies started putting their old software on digital services you could get those things for under a buck. NES games for $5, bitch please, I used to pay 5 cents.

Can you get Metroid Fusion on the WiiU?

They have to redo some of the code and WiiU games work on the gamepad as well.
The big issue is that controllers aren't the same. And while the price is a bit exaggerated (should be 3, 6, and 8 dollars), it makes some sense.

Is there a SNES controller you can buy that can plug into your comp via usb to play these ROMs, or better yet, is there a SNES controller plug to usb adaptor to play these ROMs?
I am still looking for a gameboy adapter advanced for my gamecube.

Gamecube through a computer.
I bought a couple at walmart a good 6 years ago. It could convert a gamecube, ps1, and 64 controller IIRC
