When does the Gold Cup qualifying begin?

This is the Gold Cup that we would normally send our A squad, but they recently changed the set-up to have the 2013 winner play the 2015 winner to qualify. So, the US auto qualifies for Confed with a win, but not anyone else. They would play us in a playoff.

Also, we auto qualify for every Gold Cup.

I want all of the young guns playing in next summer's Copa Oro.
