Quinnipiac: Obama rated worst President since WWII

I don't know where Quinnipiac falls on the hack/no hack meter, but I figured this Washington Times article would add some fun to the board.

Poll after poll shows President Obama’s approval rating dipping recently, and one new Quinnipiac University Poll finds that voters say Mitt Romney would have been a better choice in 2012. With Mr. Obama deploying military troops to Iraq, failing to find compromise with Congress and seeing major defeats in the Supreme Court, voters continue to sour on him.
Quinnipiac found 45 percent of voters say the country would have been better off if Mr. Romney, the 2012 GOP nominee, had been election, while just 38 percent say Mr. Obama remains a better choice. Even Democrats aren’t so sure — just 74 percent of them told the pollsters Mr. Obama was clearly the better pick in the last election.
Voters also rate him the worst president since World War II, topping even his predecessor, President George W. Bush, who had left office with terrible ratings.
“Over the span of 69 years of American history and 12 presidencies, President Barack Obama finds himself with President George W. Bush at the bottom of the popularity barrel,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

Obama is assuredly bottom 5 worst presidents ever with bush being bottom fifteen overall. 2001-2017 under both administrations has been an absolute dumpster fire for the American middle class as they have had their asses handed to them on a silver platter by Obama and Bush.
My bottom 5.
1.) Woodrow Wilson
2.) FDR
3.) LBJ
4.) Obama
5.) Lincoln

As I've said before, he has been very unpresidential imo. He's done a helluva job as point man for social reforms and agendas but that is what he is - a community organizer. He impresses me as being more concerned about the parts of things instead of the whole.
Of course when a good many people think only of me, me, me instead of we, we, we then we're at a point of where we are today. Some may think that's a good thing, some may not.

I do despise everything he does but in truth just about every president in my lifetime has been rated "worst" or near it by this point in their admin.
God, can you imagine what is next if he/she/it makes obama look good in comparison?

That was my first thought when reading this. I wonder if we won't see this trend get worse from now on as the level of pure party line obstructionism gets worse. People always half joke about political gridlock being the best thing for the country, but unfortunately I think this means the good gets thrown out with the bad. I really dread seeing what politics looks like in another 20 years.

I agree with Homesick Tiger. It's not so much that Obama is a functional idiot; it's just that there's nothing about his background, mindset, or "leadership" skills that even remotely qualifies him to be President.
But, the media never vetted him. Hell, 80% of the media is still acting like they're on the payroll for him.

Agreed. He is very good at what he is good at. OTOH, he has done a poor job at what he isn't good at. The latter is my measuring stick of how good a president is.

This is exactly correct. Plenty of people said it in 2008 and very few took the criticism seriously. It seems we think as a nation that almost anyone can be President with some degree of success. It's not at all apparent he even has the work ethic to be a successful President, much less the leadership or analytical skills.

Had this been about GWB, we're talking front page of the NYT, WaPo, and would be the leading story on all MSM outlets.

In related news, new poll shows more Americans are racist today than they've been since 1964

They are fixing to find out, after the audits, and after Rex gets the new talking points from Daily KOS, etc., on the tangentail arguements to attack this topic.

Obama is a fricking Ivy educated Lawyer, like many modern day politicians. Some of you wankers need to give up your racially charged, pre-conceived notions.
The idea that a man of Obama's intellectual cut is somehow unqualified to be POTUS where a bumpkin like GW Bush is qualified is simply outlandish.

They're not viewed as partisan if that's your question. Well, they weren't viewed as partisan.
