It is sad how excited I get for preseason football to start

Yea RTR I usually light the pit and drink a sixer for the Hall of Fame game, because it is the kickoff of football!!!

I've actually come to dread the preseason a little.

fricking injuries. And I'm not even talking about the preseason games. Some of these guys are going down in practice, sometimes on non contact plays.

but they are going to start experimenting with those longer extra points in the preseason. I guess it will be interesting to see how that goes because they might just stick with it when the regular season starts.

I don't know if they are going to spot it on one side or the other.

I'd assume they would just put it in the middle of the field like a normal extra point.

the kick will be the equivalent of a 38-yard field goal.

it might entice teams to go for the two point conversion more?
