What to do with basil?

My wife planted a bunch of seeds just for fun. Now, I have a ton of basil. What can I do with it? I use it to flavor my red sauce that I make from homegrown tomatoes. I know I can make pesto. Anything else?

Make a stack with basil leaves.. about 10-12
and slice thinly.
slice and de-seed about 6 cooked and peeled tomatoes and pat em dry on paper towel.
thinly slice 2-3 cloves of garlic.
combine ingredients in a bowl with a couple of tablespoons of olive oil.
salt and black pepper to taste.
refrigerate for about 30 minutes to let flavors combine.
Dollop mixture on top of toasted sourdough or bruschetta.. serve as an appetizer with a chianti.

I made a really nice salad dressing recently with greek yogurt, fresh basil and this garlic and chili dipping sauce:
I might have added some other seasoning, don't recall, but it's a good base. I rough chopped the basil, but maybe if it were to be for company, I might've blended it all together.

Bruschetta, big pot of spaghetti sauce, tomato basil soup are just a few ways to use a bunch of basil. On of my favorite things to do is make a basil and pecan pesto. Top some grilled chicken with it and some balsamic syrup - talk about good!
