Filling this propone tank...

Was given this as part of a wedding gift. It's an empty tank. Can I take this to any of those grocerys or gas stations that allow you to swap empties +$20 or so for fulls?

looks like a standard tank to me. Swap it or fill it. Your choice.

FYI, you get much more in a fill than in a swap...

Never filled a propane tank, don't use them that often other than to grill. Where are typical places that fill and how much $$$ per pound?

I would just take it to uhaul or somewhere like that and let them fill it...swap is convenient, but damn pricey for the amount of propane that you are getting....

Swap out tanks are usually only about 80% full from what I've been told

Yea but they're great for getting rid of tanks that are on the verge of expiring.
