When I am at my home my battery can go from 100% to 0% within a couple of hours with no use. This has started a couple of days ago and only occurs at my home. When I check the battery usage under my settings the biggest use of my battery come from the phone (20%) and android system (18%).

While at work today I was streaming music for about 4 hours and only used 50% of the battery in that time frame. None of the other wireless devices in my home are acting like this.

Do you have some sort of geo-fence turned on so your location services are constantly checking where you are?

I have full service at home.

I do have location services on, but if that is causing it why would it only affect my phone battery at home and no where else?

Get gsam battery.. That may help you narrow it down a bit more..

Is that a battery saver app? I ask because I have one that scans to see what is using up on my battery and it never shows anything excessive. Even when i kill the apps it recommends it only shows that it gains an hour of use (which it never does).
For example i got home yesterday with 95% battery life at around 4:30. It sat on the counter for about two hours unused and when I picked it up it was dead.

I've come to the conclusion that you have ghosts in your house.

Galaxy Nexus. Battery was never great, but this issue makes my phone unusable when I am home.

Are you on wi-fi at work

If you have your settings to only update on wi-fi, this could be your issue

Is that a removable battery type? I would try just getting a new battery off of amazon.

If not then I would look at Gsam and see what is causing the issues. You could be having a wakelock issue. You will need root access for wakelock detector if you are on kitkat though.

Root:
Gsam
Wakelock detector
greenify

Nonroot:
Snapdragon battery guru
Disable carrier apps from att....
Use Facebook web not app
Turn off location services
Turn off push notifications
Look at sync stuff and turn it to less frequent
If you don't really use Google Now, turn it off

Maybe a stupid question, but do you have it set up as a hotspot at home?

I ordered a new battery, but i have a feeling that the issue will still be there. The drain on my battery only happens at home.

not likely your problem, but when my work phone did this, the automatic update of some program on it had gone nuts and was draining my battery...the thing was working so hard, I could feel it getting warm in my pocket...

You can't kill programs from there but it seems to go in depth on what is draining your battery... I'm not rooted though..
