ESPN will air a piece on the origins (the Naval Academy) of the "I Believe That We Will Win" cheer tonight between 7:00-8:30 PM (ET) on World Cup Tonight. The piece also might find its way onto SportsCenter tonight or tomorrow. There will also be a story on it on ESPN.Com at some point tonight.

Enjoy if that is your cup of tea.

I like the chant, but it gets overdone. The first 2 WC games I've watched in insanely packed, shoulder to shoulder soccer bars. You couldn't go got dang 3 minutes without some hero trying to start it up.

Might as well go with:

"Who dat say dey gon' beat dem yanks"

Not a big fan of chants ... anything's got to be better than vuvuzelas and "ole, ole ole ole"
