Obama looks like he's going to be taking out his pen on immigration!

Announcement this afternoon in the Rose Garden.

I am certain that it will be a bridge-building event, filled with positive statements about consensus and bipartisanship, and will not be a partisan screed.

This should be interesting.

The Border Patrol can't handle all the people who are here because of the current way he is handling things, even if you don't claim that the administration is bussing these fricking people across Mexico.

If he announces a official amnesty, the borders are going to look like Joe's Apartment with all the people crawling out from under every nook and cranny to grab amnesty.

I need to start a business that retails large agricultural two-head spears and handheld combustible illuminators.

Still no word on how we plan to combat cartel choppers flying into the US and firing on BP agents or is that coming later this week?

Serious question here...

Why can't the Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and California national guards be called to duty by their governor to protect the borders?

I figure there's a 90% chance of excrement hitting air conditioning, one way or another, if he pushes this forward.

These include emergency petition to SCOTUS about the legality of such a move, impeachment, and/or torches and pitchforks being deployed.

They can be called. Problem is that illegals are supposed to be turned over to the Feds, who will just release them.

My fricking arse he did.

It'll be the same thing as 1986, amnesty first and enforcement later, which becomes "never".

Have a feeling that its going to be really bad. The libs need something to get a bad taste out of their mouth, and the Dems have been taking it in the arse this whole year. They need a Political uplift, and I'm not liking this, but elections have consequences, and Immigration, and building the Dem base might be the only legacy Obama has left, as everything else he's touched has been a disaster. This will too, but for the future of Dem voters, its a win in their eyes. They would rather F%$# America long term, than follow the law..

This.

They have also shown, so far, that they're angling to drop these people into areas which are either purple or red with the idea of flipping them blue in the long-term.

If they do this, I think I can say with little hyperbole that the electorate of the US will resemble nothing like it was before Obama was in office.

Flipping Texas, for instance, pretty much ensures a Dem majority for the foreseeable future.

His tone is quite Presidential. He is going to fix this on his own without Congress
