Anybody know of anyone that has any Mountain Feist pups that are off squirrel dog stock? Me and the father are headed to Rocky Branch to see a man with a few dogs today and maybe put down a deposit but he doesn't have any pups that aren't spoken for till 2015. My father raises squirrel dogs, Fiest and BMC. Got plenty BMC but needing a gyp fiest to breed to his male. I remember someone on here raised squirrel dogs or just had some but cant remember who it was. Seemed like they lived around West Monroe.

Yeah Geauxt, he already has like 4 of Joeys dogs. If you go to Joeys website and go to his "pups for sale page" at the very top, the first thing is a video of a pup named Jake. We got him now too. We got plenty of BMC and some very good blood. But my favorite squirrel dog my dad has is Mountain Feist and his parents are Champion Squirrel dogs and he would be too if we trialed him. We are wanting a female of good breeding to breed him to. My father raises the squirrel dogs and I raise the beagle rabbit dogs.

My dad just picked up 2 Feist and is currently training them. I'm headed to his place this evening, I will find out who he got them from and post the info for you. I know it was in Mississippi.

Yeah TexasTiger if you will, I would appreciate it. We are willing to drive a few hours for the right gyp.

Good deal. The Feist are pretty cool dogs. He's been training his for 2 months now. He built a mesh tube that runs on the ground and up a tree to run a squirrel around to train them with. There catching on really quick, I'm ready for hunting season!!

No Feist pups but I will be having some half BMC and Blue Lacy pups in a few weeks if she took. The dad is not a year old yet and treeing but the mom doesn't hunt. She is very smart and athletic dog just didn't care for squirrel hunting. I bet she would do good on hogs though. The male is a Ladner BMC from Curtis Ladner.

If anyone else wants a pup I will post them when they are born, they will be free.
